PUBLIC HEARING – 2009 PROPOSED BUDGET
SPECIAL MEETING OF TOWN BOARD
OCTOBER 27, 2008
A public hearing was called to order on October 27, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman Moore to discuss and take public comment regarding the 2009 Proposed Budget. Present: Chairman Gary Moore, Sup. Francis Rabas, Supervisor Richard Bradley, Clerk Michelle Wallerius, Treasurer Dawn Chervenka.
Estimated costs reviewed by Bd. Kathy Janssen inquires about the amount received from the Recycling Grant. Suggestion to encourage more recycling in Town Newsletter. Sup. Rabas states he has picked up 16 tires from the ditches, along with discarded mattresses. Discussion whether the Town should address through an ordinance to prevent further dumping. Signs could be placed throughout the Town with fines to be imposed.
No further comments on Budget. Public hearing adjourned.
Special Town Board meeting called to order at 6:45 p.m. by Chairman Moore.
NEW BUSINESS
ADOPT 2009 BUDGET: Tabled until November’s regular monthly meeting.
CSM of ALAN VANDERKINTER: Sup. Rabas questioned width of roadway and has since discovered Old Settlers Road is off-set. Measurements were taken from the centerline. Motion by Sup. Rabas and seconded by Sup. Bradley to approve CSM – Lot 1. MC. CSM dated October 27, 2008 and signed by Clerk. Original provided to Ms. Larsen to file with Brown Cty and copy to be furnished to the Town upon filing.
INFORMATIONAL BUILDING PERMIT: Brian Johnson of 6357 Rolling Acres Lane request to construct a 16x24 addition on the SE corner of existing home. Foundation to be installed and will be capped off. Motion by Sup. Rabas and seconded by Sup. Bradley to approve. MC
Motion by Sup. Bradley and seconded by Sup. Rabas to adjourn at 6:55 p.m. MC
