PLAN COMMISSION MEETING
DECEMBER 8, 2009 @ 7:00 P.M.
Members Present: Chairman William Krueger, Kathy Janssen, Paul Huguet, Keith Brunner, Norbert Hansen, Steve Olsen, Francis Rabas and Michelle Wallerius, Clerk.
REZONING REQUEST OF TOM & NANCY KELLNER:
A meeting of the Plan Commission was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Bill Krueger.
A request from Tom and Nancy Kellner is before the Commission to rezone 3 acres from parcel (ND-713) from Ag-1 to Ag-Residential to permit for the sale of an existing home located at 6454 Rosecrans Road to be parceled off from ND-713. The home would be sold to their son. CSM not completed. Setbacks appropriate per Code. Keith Brunner inquires if zoning change conforms to the standards of the Smart Growth Plan. Commission believes it conforms. Home was pre-existing to setbacks outlined for conservancy district and would be grandfathered-in since it was built in 1982. Discussion about location of mound/septic system. Existing garage near wetland – may want to rebuild without changing the footprint.
